The public schools in the city where I live—ARCHIVES.

And you know for a fact that Hawaii's public schools keep their records for over 40 years? How?

Besides, of what possible relevance are Obama's Kindergarten records? Do you want to know how many timeouts he had to take for talking out of turn?

Numerous news articles,

No, it was exactly ONE news article.

Snopes itself (until it scrubbed), Wikipedia, a student newspaper written by a person who interviewed his sister (a student who, btw, has never “corrected” his “mistake”),

Snopes, Wikidpedia and a student newsletter (not even a newspaper) don't count as news articles. All of those "sources" were getting their information from the same Wikipedia article, which was written by some high school kid who later admitted to simply making up the information about the hospital.

African news stories,

I haven't seen these, and I don't believe you. Got a link?

genealogists, and even one of his own campaign websites.

These aren't news articles, and like the other sources, all got their incorrect information from the same Wikipedia entry written by a high school kid who made it up.

Obama and every single member of his family has been consistent in maintaining he was born at Kapiolani, not Queens.

A reporter? ONE? Did you see that word I used? NUMEROUS. See this link for a comprehensive review of numerous “reporters” who “got his mother’s first name wrong”:

I read your link. So it was one reporter and a handful of bloggers. Big deal.

Why is it important? Why is it NOT important?

Because the fact a reporter and a handful of bloggers got his mother's first name wrong has no relevance to either his eligibility or performance as president.

And birthers wonder why no one takes them seriously...

Seems you are left behind, because very clearly, that Donald Trump does. Shouting out from the rooftop, "Show the damn birth certificate," FINO. It got a lot of traction on three FAUX programs yesterday and also Rush covered it for some time today, for the first time really without jeopardize themselves from the "marching orders" of air silence, they got a free pass, because Joy Be-Hair brought it up on ABC's VIEW for the Washing-Women in rumors-ville and your girl friend Whooppi freaked out totally !!!

Incurious said, “I read your link. So it was one reporter and a handful of bloggers. Big deal.”

You are not worth debating because you lie and mislead in order to prevent people from bothering to see and learn the truth. It’s your job, I suspect.

If you read the link, then you know that there were NUMEROUS news articles linked to in that article. In fact, there’s even a story by Johnny Brannon, staff writer for the HONOLULU ADVERTISER, the same newspaper that supposedly published the announcements of an unnamed son to a Mr. and Mrs. (which one?) Barack Obama. In the story, Obama’s mother is referred to as Shirley. How could it be that the newspaper in Honolulu did not even know her “correct” name?

There are at least 11 links to NEWS articles. Also a link to a review of a book about Obama by New Yorker editor and Pulitzer Prize-winning author David Remnick that refers to Obama’s mother as Shirley.

Also an article about how the Church of the Latter Day Saints, noted for their genealogical research and their careful documentation, baptized the president’s mother—one Shirley Dunham.

If you want more links, you can, if you have a shred of intellectual honesty, which I doubt, go looking for them yourself. Why should I bother to give you more proof (the African news articles about Queen’s Medical) when even when it’s in front of your face you refuse to acknowledge it and then you lie about what you have seen? Either you are lying about what you have seen or you are lying about having read the linked article.

Then you resort to the same tired old Alinsky tactic of insulting the person with whom you pretend to honestly debate by calling the person a “birther”. And then you change the subject. What does his mother’s name have to do with his eligibility or his performance?

Actually, that’s a good word. Performance. As in theater. As in acting. As in we haven’t a clue who he really is. Or who his mother really is. Or who his father really is. That says a great deal about his character, honesty, transparency, morals.

You said, “And you know for a fact that Hawaii’s public schools keep their records for over 40 years? How?”

We can infer from their claim of having “lost” Obama’s records that they would ordinarily have such records. They didn’t say, “We don’t keep kindergarten records for 40 years.” They said they lost his records.
