A story:

Once upon a time there lived a giant. The giant had massive strength, determination and ingenuity. The giant worked hard and prospered. He accumulated great wealth. He generously shared his abundance with those in need and those who were suffering.  And he was happy to do it.

The giant’s neighbors saw him prosper and they were jealous. They said to the giant that even though the giant had been very generous, they had less than he. He owed it to them to give more. It is only fair, they said. The giant could easily afford to share, so he gave more. And he was happy to do it.

Envy is by far the worst enemy of a civilized society. The envy that drives others to complain about their their neighbor who does better because they work harder.

Envy is a tribal condition that has plagued humanity for a very long time. In tribal societies people intentionally don’t try to strive for greatness individually because it will earn the envy and disdain of their fellow man.

The Liberal RUN on envy 100%. The only way we can fix our society is to teach our children about the dangers opf being Envious.

Unfortunately, what the giant achieved was to create so many parasites that its impossible to crush them.
A more accurate ending would be that the thieves murdered the giant, divvied the loot, then starved to death when the loot ran out.
