Announcing new international measures Friday against Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, President Obama called it "just one more chapter in the change that is unfolding across the Middle East and North Africa." But some of the president's announcement seemed to take a page from a similarly historic announcement by his predecessor -- even though one senior White House official said making any connection is "reading too much into it."
Right, What's in Your wallet?
By copying from Bush, obama's idiot advisors think they can prevent attacks from republicans, who by their lights would then have to criticize Bush as well for what he did.
What they don't realize is that thinking republicans are quite prepared to criticize Bush for his adventures, because unlike 'rats, we put nation ahead of party.
Huh?
Head fake. That’s all.
Uhh, the Marines were sent into Tripoli in response to pirate attacks on American shipping.
President Reagan sent bombers to Libya in response to Gadafi’s killing and maiming of American troops at a German disco bar.
When President Bush went into Iraq, it was because Saddam was routinely targetting our (and allied) planes enforcing the no-flay zone, IN ADDITION to any other reasons stated.
Where is ANY attack on the United States or her people in this civil revolt (internal, inter-tribal war), that makes it our business? If Libya, why not Somalia? Why not Darfur? Why not Nigeria? Please explain the Obama Policy, Mister Pres—ent!
The only lesson to be taken from this is that OBAMA IS A WAR-MONGER! (And a P-poor one, at that!)
Not true Obama still sounds like a Pu$$y
Surely you wouldn’t be implying less than honest behavior by a blogger?
I you look, I think you will find that the Sidebar Moderator has taken care of that issue.
I noticed.
Can’t a pimp even get some hits around here?
Good bloggers can.
Pimps, not so much.
Is this the new standard for military intervention?
Bush never set the bar so low! None of the "warmongering" Republican presidents have.
