Where Does President Obama Find Time To Watch So Much Basketball?
ConstitutionSchool.com ^ | March 17, 2011 | Jeremy Farley

I was initially very reluctant to jump aboard the bandwagon of fellow conservatives who chided the President for appearing on ESPN to fill out his NCAA brackets. Sure there’s an ongoing civil war in Libya, gas prices are approaching $4 per gallon and a plume of radiation may be approaching California- but let’s be honest... None of these problems could possibly be fixed in five minutes anyway... Not even by the man-child himself!

My heart even began to feel all warm and bubbly inside as I watched the President open his address by asking viewers to donate aid to Japan. “Finally, he’s showing some sympathy.” I thought to myself, after having wondered if he was capable of such an emotion following his bizarre behavior in response to the Japanese earthquake.

However, as Mr. Obama began to make his picks and speak with Andy Katz from ESPN I suddenly realized something- the President of the United States of America knows way more than I do about this year’s college basketball tournament.

All he has to do is goof off and wait for the UN to send his orders to his teleprompter and the MSM.

Valarie doesn’t require much of his time in order to run the country.

There is nothing sweet about him mentioning Japan in between basketball picks. I think it was the most insensitive, tacky, and shallow regard for the suffering people of Japan. People must be desperate for some amount of humanity from this man if they think that was at all thoughtful.

Seriously, between all that golfing and vacation travel and planning, where does he find the time to watch all those basketball games?

He doesn’t have to do the dishes, mow the lawn, change his car’s oil, or pretty much anything else. He has loads of time on his hands.

When i told my husband (who is somewhat apolitical) about Obama being on TV revealing his NCAA bracket picks, his jaw dropped in disgust.

He said, I don’t even have time to do this....and the president is focused on this....Really?

My DH works hard, loves his family fiercely and enjoys the occasional golf game. He can’t believe that BO has had time to play 61 rounds! As a golfer, my husband understands how much time that represents.

You’d think he’d be too busy walking the dog to have much time to watch basketball.

Oh, who cares!

At least we don't have a president who watches NASCAR or NFL (lousy, anti-union owners!)

I'd write more, but it's time for me to tune into ‘All Things Considered,’ check the latest REAL news on CNN and log onto nytimes.com.

In all seriousness, Mr. President, scores of my neighbors are out of work, the price of gas is really beginning to change how I live my day to day life and you’re busy watching college basketball and reading tournament articles?

The New York Times doesn't care - after all they're in his pocket...

He watches the game while being driven to the next tee and whenever he goes to the presidential washroom at the parties.

His handlers know that as long as he’s watching B Ball or playing golf he won’t drool on the rug and refuse to take his meds. They’ll do anything to keep him under control so he can read from the teleprompter when they want him to and not go out of control in public. When you get right down to it, the real question is why a guy who appointed three dozen or so czars to run everything has to ever lift a finger for anything other than “thuggin’ love” and his favorite sports pass times.

The lib’s standard response is, “well, he can multi-task”. Multi-screw off is more like it.
