One of my 4th grade students handed me a kids’ book about 0 yesterday and told me she got it for me. I said “Thanks but no thanks. You can have it back.” She asked why and I said because I don’t care for him. She insisted I keep it, so I tossed it on my in-tray behind my desk. After dismissal, I threw it in the wastebasket. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it in front of the whole class. (I did check first to make sure it wasn’t a library book and it wasn’t). I simply can not stomach that fool.

There's plenty of countries out there where kids are taught to love the leaders of the country, with use of songs, picture books, and the like.

They're not good countries. The leaders are not good people.

Cartoon book or not, there's something innately creepy about using kids to spread political literature.
