"milk that lasts" may be her technical term for UHT(Ultra Heat Treated) long life milk, which lasts 6-9 months at room temperature (unopened - break the seal and all bets are off)

3 x 12 pack cartons will run out before it expires on time.

I think she bought the shelf stable milk that comes in boxes. It doesn’t have to be refrigerated. She’s still weird.

Look, how many times do I have to tell you people? This was TRIAGE milk! Lasts for months. This is WELL KNOWN.
