Gee, brycemax, you posted this last year in defense of posting copyrighted toons (pookie18 is pinged because he/she is the poster in question)

And if you must know how it costs hits, Pookie doesnÂ’t post the same day the toon is released. He puts it up a couple of days after the fact. Thus no lost hits.

Also, by posting the cartoon within the thread, there’s no incentive to go to the site. If you’re too dense to understand that, then truly you have redefined what “dope” means.

That being said, once again let me state that he has a lot more class than you goombahs and at least respects the manÂ’s work.

You donÂ’t have to like it, hell you donÂ’t have to read it, but common decency would at least dictate that you respect his wishes.

So pookie posting someone else's copyrighted toons, OK.

A freeper posting this blog's toons on FR, not OK.

FWIW, only one cartoonist ever asked me to stop posting his work & that was from his syndicators after he became syndicated. Some cartoonists e-mailed me their work directly. Others asked me to use a click-on link back to their sites...
