Blogs don’t get grief.

Blogs that do little more than grab headlines from a news source, post them in their blog entries, and then post one-liners here hoping to get people to go look at their blog where they put the lifted newspaper story — that is what we like to ridicule.

I love the bloggers who write their own opinions and then post the entries here (now me, I just post my opinions here without going through the extra step, but that’s a personal choice). It’s the ones who give you no added value, but pretend that “finding” the news was so important you should go to their blog.

Yes, finding news could be considered a task; drudge does it. But around here, most freepers spend all their time “finding news”, and then we post the links here, at FR, so we can all discuss them. We are all doing that work, without expecting people to go to our blogs to get the results.

The worst bloggers actually lift images and videos, and post them in a way that marks them from the blog, as if the blog generated them. Sometimes they then get upset when links are posted directly to the items.

Which I find to be hilarious.

Here is a thread posted today on FR from FOX Nation
With an excerpt you have to click on
The story is lifted from (CNN)
About what Trunmp said on ABC news
On a linked video from Politico

Yet a conservative activist posts a video on his blog with his own comments about it, links to it on FR properly in the bloggers forum, and gets flamed for pimping and not having produced it?

Just seems like a double standard to me. How is this foxnation guy any different than the blog pimps?
