I know that Two and Half Men has its fans, but I can’t figure out why. The few times I’ve seen it I have noticed that the writing is not funny and the two major characters aren’t suited for comedy roles.

The few times I’ve seen it I have noticed that the writing is not funny and the two major characters aren’t suited for comedy roles.The writers of that show are just a single generation away from fulfilling the prophecy of the mockumentary "Idiocracy" and the future TV hit series, "OW! My Balls!"

Apparently some people love juvenilia and ad nauseum, coarse, unfunny sexual innuendo.
How else to explain the recurring role of embarrassing Betty White as a sex-obsessed octogenarian?
