Vegas ain’t gonna be too happy. Luv it. Let both sides show what arrogant, selfish people they all are. It truly is time to put it to the test. Which one will blink? Obviously the players.

Think i say Tom Brady in Madison on TV.
.

Players are filthy rich, no need for a union when you sign individual contracts.

Don`t like it, there are other leagues to go play in.

It's time to END the Player's Union and REPAIR the NFL

I really don't sympathize with either side in the NFL - these are private businesses dealing with private employee unions. But I find the owners slightly more odious than the players this time - the owners are the ones requesting big changes in the agreement terms.

One of the owner demands is an 18 game schedule - they're reacting to the anger of season ticket holders (who are required to pay full price for two pre-season games every year) by diluting the regular season even more. Starters who would be sitting for those two pre-season games will now be on the field, increasing the likelihood that more will be injured heading into the playoffs and all will be more tired. It's a lousy idea, and it deserves to be defeated.

And while we’re fumigating the NFL, how ‘bout throwing all that pink crap away. It makes the NFL players look like a bunch of sissified, “anti-war” commie libs. Those pink mouth pieces, cleats and jock straps is a bit much.

Screw the NFL, owners and most players. The NFL loves hussein and FALSELY smeared Rush as a racist.

It's not the players' fault, it's the owner's fault. The owners want the players to play an 18-game season, reduce the rookie salaries, and basically want players to play for peanuts.

Football is not like baseball. Players have to train year-round, the average length of a player's lifespan is 3-5 years, and any injury sustained can basically kill your career.

So it's reasonable for players to form a union and owners should be ashamed of themselves for trying to squeeze more out of players when they themselves are billionaires and profiting from tax-payer funded stadiums.

What does it mean that the players’ association decertified?
Do teams come to agreements with individual players now?
Can the league now unilaterally extend the season to 18 games (provided they can find players willing to play that many games at whatever salary the player and team agree to?)
Obviously the salary cap, franchise player, blah, blah, blah is out the window...

A question I posted on another thread: Why would De Maurice Smith want the union decertified? Doesn’t this mean he no longer has a job?

As Jerry Seinfeld said, since the players and coaches and owners are always changing, and the only thing that doesn’t change much is the uniforms, we’re all basically rooting for laundry.
