Yes E.D. Kain Wisconsin is the Republican Waterloo…

…they are playing the role of Wellington.

Was it only 48 hours ago that liberals buoyed by polls and news reports were convinced that Scott Walker and the republicans were about to back down?

Now not even one day after they were proved spectacularly wrong the left has decided on a new meme to replace the old one that didn’t seem to work. Apparently now this vote is a case of political suicide for Republicans. E. D. Kain is convinced this will be their doom:

And now conservatives have chosen public-sector workers and teachers as their hill to die on. They have followed the most radical voices in the party and the movement, and elected Scott Walker, Rick Scott, and various other Tea Party candidates. Heavily funded by big campaign donors like the Koch brothers and other corporate interests, the Republican party has made a concerted effort across the country to take on unions, public pensions, and social services for the poor.

The local newsrag is calling this defeat an energizer for labor for 2012.

No mention of a win for the taxpayer or the jobs market.

E. D. is an idiot. Yes the unions, who expect others to pay their way, are going wild. But, there are far more non-union workers and taxpayers who are glad these changes are being made, and they vote. The polls are skewed with their questions of “Do you approve of Gov. Walker taking away the rights of union workers?” when the question should be, “Do you think union workers should have to pay a little more into their health and retirement plans?” If the question was worded properly, the polls would be different.

They’re wishful thinking. By 2012, the positive effects of this action will have the voters supporting Walker and the republicans.

This was a very MODEST first step. If this is overreaching then there is no solution and informed people should head out to their sanctuary countries next week.

“The local newsrag is calling this defeat an energizer for labor for 2012.”

The union riot and bully tactics were a PR disaster for unions. The backlash is building.

Just like Ernst Röhm's SA, the union thugs will find themselves on the wrong end of history on this one. Like the history book on the shelf, it's always repeating itself.

----------------------------

My my, at waterloo Napoleon did surrender
Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
Is always repeating itself

Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - couldn’t escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - finally facing my waterloo

My my, I tried to hold you back but you were stronger
Oh yeah, and now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight
And how could I ever refuse
I feel like I win when I lose

Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - couldn’t escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - knowing my fate is to be with you

All msm referring to this rout of the unions as a WIN for the unions. Kind of like Sheen’s ‘winning’ if you ask me.

Fueled by meth and/or crack/and/or speedballs.

Last evening, Governor Walker mentioned the gain of 10,000 private sector jobs in Wisconsin in January and an unemployment rate of 7.4%.

Watch Wisconsin surge now!

Not only does that upset the Democrats, but the establishment Republicans too.

“They have followed the most radical voices in the party “

The proper response is, “ Gee ..how’s that hopey and changey thing working for you?” If the Kenyan-Reid-Pelosi communist coup to jam ObamaCare down our throats didn’t occur, I bet WI unions would still be sitting fat and happy.

The great thing in this case is Walker and the brave WI Republicans had the opportunity to drive a steak through the beasts heart and did not waver. Profiles in courage.

We should hail them as heroes of the republic.

The progressives do not seem to understand the laws of unintended consequences. They believe that their “good intentions” are supreme and will get them through.

Those of us that live in the real world wiht some smattering of common sense see things differently and get all worked up and make things difficult for the hopey changey types.

Most would still be asleep and not give a rat’s a$$ if Obammiedawhammie care had not created a tsunami.

Ditto for my newsrag The La Crosse Tribune. They actually have pictures of state reps bawling on the front page..as if someone took away their cookie...which Walker has done. They’re going to have to work a lot harder for their money now. Before, the unions just dumped the money in their laps.

If the citizens of Wisconsin fall for this left-wing propaganda and vote to recall the Republican Governor and legislators, then they will get what they deserve. Surely there are more people in Wisconsin that are smarter than that. If not, then that state is doomed and probably the rest of this country.

It is my understanding that you have to be in office one full year before you can be recalled.

The Governor has no worries at this time, other than the death threats and other little things like that.
