After weeks of rangling and protests, Gov. Scott Walker and Wisconsin Republican passed the legislation to virtually end collective bargaining in the state. Halted by the quorum need to pass fiscally related bills in the Wisconsin Senate, Republicans split off the legislative language regarding collective bargaining into a stand alone bill, which did not need a quorum. The Wisconsin Senate passed the bill this evening.

Pretty good coming from those clowns. Press release from Illinois?
What gall! They thought they could control the Wisconsin legislature by not showing up. Idjits should be billed for the cleaning of the capital.
WNPIH?
Dammit....
Sic’em gunner!
Uh, the Assembly has sign off on it as well before the Gov. can sign it into law. But, I agree - it’s as good as done. Hallelujah!!!!
Of course they are not outraged at the 14 democrat fleebag senators who haven’t shown up to work in about a month, that have fled the state so they can’t be compelled to show up.
Talk about outrageous. They are a little selective and myopic about what outrages them.
They got their asses handed to them for what they and Doyle did to this state the last 8 years. Now that the citizens of Wisconsin spoke and booted their socialist liberal union-controlled asses out, now they’re outraged.
What they did while in office, what Doyle did taking money from reserved funds to balance the budget, doing far worse without allowing any debate or any time to the republicans. This has been dragged out to death.
I say if they don’t come back by the end of the week, the senate declares these 14 dems resigned, the seats vacant, and asks Walker to issue writs for special elections. I bet we’d pick up 3 seats in the 3 dme seats in swing districts.
Great
They Pissed off the Boss and got stepped on!
I think they will call a general strike and shut the state down with riots before any additional votes can take place.
Don't if that will happen, but better sooner than later. If we are going to get civil war with the socialist bloodsuckers, then do it now. The further down the road this takes place, the worse it will be.
“Democrats are outraged by the ‘nondemocratic’ nature of such a maneuver.”
Maybe they can show up to vote next time.
