Paul Horcher back in 1995 was an example of a successful recall in California prior to Gray Davis’ promotion to private employment.
1995 is about the same time as our recall here. We had a township meeting when they rammed some stuff through and said they did not care what we wanted. They also said they had the legal right to do it. I was at one meeting and they had to call six more police cruisers in for protection from less than 600.
