I stopped giving to CPB YEARS ago. Our local PBS station can’t stay on the frikkin’ air half the time without a malfuction. I got really tired of it.

Also.....our ‘local PBS spokesperson couldn’t pronounce ‘Westminster’ correctly during the fundraiser. She kept calling it ‘West Minister’.

*facepalm*

It’s “Westminster”. That’s the proper dialect.

I used to contribute to PBS and used my employer's matching funds for years. I find Nova and American Experience fantastic programs, but stay away from everything else. Then in about 2003 PBS ran a special on how great the Muslims are approximately one week before Christmas - THAT WAS IT FOR ME. They never run anything about how great Christians are. I burned up my emails to PBS, CPB, and a couple of their sponsors and told them not one more penny.
