My objection to Romney is that he is an elitist who believes that he is ‘next in line’ as a RNC pick for POTUS. I don’t care if he is Morman... others may.

What I care about is his poor understanding of Conservative Principles ... Politicians like Romney get trendy political positions mixed up with Principle. But - you either got it or you don’t. Politicians who don’t establish - keep and hold and practice core Conservative Principles are just not worth having ...

Having said that - Romney like Huckabee are good Americans While I don’t want either one as POTUS, we should be cautious about pouring on caustic rhetoric. Both are RINO is nature but they don’t hold a candle to the Demorats.

The problem for Romney is that there ARE enough people who wouldn't vote for him because of his Mormonism that it almost completely eliminates his chances of winning. Whether or not it is appropriate for someone to withhold their vote for that reason is another issue altogether.
