You know anywhere in the mid-east sons come first;then daughters. If a daughter (in most cases) is born first BEFORE the 1st born son it’s a total tragedy(sp?) .
It’s all about carrying on the family name. There are no English law derivates like Sr.,Jr.,II.,III.,IV,etc...it’s totally ethnic & tribal,too.
What facinates me is one pic of Stanley Ann Dunham leaning on a couch where her parents are seated. Sorry, I don’t have the pic but I can refresh your memory.

It’s been presumed by many bloggers and photo analysts the
embroidered frock bore the initials of a Catholic school in the mid-east, namely Lebanon.
No one will ever know legend of Stanley Armour Dunham as all (to the best of my knowledge from FR) his service records for the ARMY were either lost or destroyed.
I’ll certainly go look up what has been circulating on the ‘net about those embroirded initials on Stanley Ann Dunham’s dress(looks like a uniform).
