Bravo. I admire your courage and clear understanding of history.
Thanks for the update-—read my profile from 1998 and what I did. Noob is not me!
I went to a Solano County TEA Party dinner / meeting and had to sit next to a retired Univ Hawaii History professor. I had to mind my p’s and q’s and try to come off as having some modicum of historical knowledge. You learn a lot at FreeRepublic.
So what would Melas do?-—sit on one’s butt and just watch them try to get our troops to desert, go AWOL, etc?
No.
:) Thank you for your service to our country! We owe you a debt that cannot be repaid!
I am sure that the poster was only commenting on your sign up date. There is an unofficial pecking order here that is based on how long you have been a member. Like it or not, and as unfair as it is, that pecking order stands. I am not agreeing with it, just pointing it out.
The internet is a place of fantastic information, but we humans like to somehow quantify the information we get here somehow. That really is impossible to do, but we try anyway. On FR one of those ways of quantifying the legitimacy of a poster and their information is by date joined. Again I am not agreeing with that sort of pecking order because I think it leads to misplacement of trust. Be that as it may, it still is what it is. (shrug)

Find out who is sponsoring Cindy Sheehan and work on them a bit. She used to visit WA State, Evergreen College and Western Washington, University. The Peace and Justice groups used to do fund raising for her. I say used to because they got bored with her and got a new Cindy Sheehan, a veteran named, Evan Knappenberger, a real gem. They had to ditch him too, after he was arrested for spousal abuse and threatening Ann Coulter and Michelle Malkin. I think they now actually have a third Cindy Sheehan.
The Peace and Justice group at Evergreen actually referred to Evan Knappenberger as the new Cindy Sheehan in a news letter.
Read my profile-—it reveals more then just a current sign up date. In other words, I was here back in 1998! And look what I revealed to you in October 2000 (hint-—USS Cole).
Awesome! Kudos!
Kristinn, you’ll love this!
