In 1962, I was transferred to the SF Bay Area and going to "The City" was a treat. In those days, before the hippies and war protests and leftwing idiots, the City was the place to go. As a man you wore at minimum slacks, dress shirt and spiffy sweater, women dressed to nines. I remember women shopping that looked like they stepped out of a magazine, gloves included. Now, sad to say that such a beautiful city has become a stinking hole fit only for the homeless.
I have a daughter that still lives there loves the city but keeps saying it is so hard to live there. Sad how time changes things. San Francisco at one time a jewel, now and stink hole.
