When a state recognizes a labor union formed around public employees it is, in effect, extending what is known as a "privilege" not available to others.
That's what a title of nobility gets you ~ "privilege".
It's the same thing. The Constitution pretty much prohibits the United States, or any one of them, from granting a title of nobility.
Seems to me the Governor of Wisconsin could simply invoke the Constitution to deny the validity of all those "privileges" claimed by unions.

And if conservatives and the Tea Party don't rise up and directly confront the leftist rent a mobs, we will lose IMO. I don't think the State is up to the job alone. The police are marching and sleeping with the demonstrators in solidarity. Governor Walker is letting the State House stay occupied as a tactical matter, but the left only grows stronger with the delay and injury to Wisconsin. The pressure is building against individual GOP state senators and eventually some will flip. The left wants a media covered confrontation with the police or the National Guard, but this will have to happen unless the GOP folds or the people rise up and throw the red shirt thugs out themselves.

BS. Who writes this garbage? Do run for office if you are a coward.

The BIG battle of Wisconsin, etc... IMHO: is the state going to continue to collect union dues as payroll deductions or force the unions to do it themselves? Thus the UPROAR! If victorious, Scott Walker and other GOP governors will have won a political victory of a magnitude yet to be measured
the possible de-funding of a corrupt and gangsterlike Democrat party. For the Dems, the union slush fund is their Ring of Power.
THAT is what Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and the other Repub govs in the fight, are trying to destroy, and THAT is why the battle is so fierce:
"Concerning this thing, my lords, you now all know enough for the understanding of our plight, and of Saurons. If he regains it, your valour is vain, and his victory will be swift and complete: so complete that none can foresee the end of it while this world lasts. If it is destroyed, then he will fall; and his fall will be so low that none can foresee his arising ever again. For he will lose the best part of the strength that was native to him in his beginning, and all that was made or begun with that power will crumble, and he will be maimed for ever, becoming a mere spirit of malice that gnaws itself in the shadows, but cannot again grow or take shape. And so a great evil of this world will be removed." (Gandalf)
If Walker and the other Republican governors can cripple the public employees unions, then Dem politicians will lose access to union money, and coerced union "volunteers". They will lose even bigger than they lost in 2012, and the factions that compose the Dem party will attack each other to gain a slightly bigger piece of the diminished pie.
