Firearms designer Len Savage put me in touch with Lt. Col. Robert K. Brown, publisher of Soldier of Fortune Magazine, who wanted to call our attention to the candidacy of Steve Schreiner for the National Rifle Association Board of Directors.
The Nominating Committee has not selected him, however. Per Brown:
NRA will not endorse him cause they think he is "too much of a zealot." My response is that we could use a few more "zealots" on the BOD.
As a voting Life Member who remembers the treatment accorded the late Neal Knox, I concur, and note Jeff Knox refers to Schreiner as an unrelenting Second Amendment advocate.

I used to subscribe to SOF and trust publisher Brown after reading his numerous critiques over the years. My beef is that these so-called gun advocates at the NRA fork over more money to Dems than to the GOP.
I've known Steve for many years.
He is the real thing.
Here is his BioWe need him on the NRA board.
I urge all NRA members to support Steve.
I’ve also known Steve for years and seen him in action here in Colorado...
To call him “an unrelenting advocate for the Second Amendment” is definitely true, if even a bit of an understatement...Savvy and tenacious!
Steve is exactly the kind of advocate the NRA Board needs to get the go-along-to-get-along-trade-our-rights-away faction off their asses and push ‘em back into the fight...
I’m a Life Member of the NRA, and will definitely be voting for Steve Schreiner...I urge all NRA voting members to do the same...
Best of luck, Steve...
