i’ve been keeping track of the race, looks like Todd and Eric Quam (team11) will be neck and neck to the half way point - Nome, any minuste now, with team # 14. the Nome halfway prize is 10,000. in gold. woohoo!
Palin/Quam have been riding with the father/son team #7 - Scott and Corey Davis. Scott was Todds past partner. so seems they are helping each other out, and also breaking trail, which is tough. there are 3 chicks riding this year and all are still in the race. 11 teams or so have already scratched.

looks like they just got to Nome and team 14 beat Palin/Quam buy 3 min, don’t know if it’s official yet.. been keeping up on the Iron Dog website and the NatGuard gps tracking system they set up for the race.. real fun to keep track of
