G.H.W. Bush lost reelection because of his own words, “Read my lips, no new taxes”.

That being said, what is the Governor's motivation in making a statement like this? Could it be Gov. Huckabee trying to appear more “Moderate”?

The dems in the Congress forced his hand on that deal, they screwed him.

I don’t see it any differently than a coach telling his team not to underestimate the 0-12 football team next on their schedule.

You want your players motivated, because if they are complacent, even a bad team can win.
