In an actual shooting war, yes. But what’s happening here is their side is intimidating our public officials; showing up outside the official’s homes and threatening them. The volunteers would need to be on-hand in all instances to stop our elected officials from feeling threatened. The volunteers all have day jobs.
Now, if Glen Beck or Rush Limbaugh came up with a plan and got somebody to provide an information clearing house, we could have five concealed carry license holders to protect every Republican senator. We could put 3 to 1 in the street to counter-protest. But failing that leadership, which on their side is the union boss, we simply aren’t organized to counter their tactics.
