Did Your Representative Vote Against Spending Cuts?

Who would believe last November that we would have Republicans in the House voting against spending cuts?

Last night Mark Levin linked to a story on his facebook page by Dan Riehl about how the US House Leadership voted with the Democrats to block a spending cut amendment.

The amendment would have cut an additional $22 Billion on top of the proposed $61 Billion in the Republican measure.

Here's the list, I counted, there are 92 Republicans alright, who voted with the Democrats. All of the Democrats.

I've found three of them in my state, find yours. Unfortunately, along with Cantor and Upton, I see that Allen West has also voted against this cut.

Here is an explanation of the amendment:

Amendment 104: Rep. Jordan (R-OH) The amendment would perform a 5.5 percent across-the-board cut of all accounts in eight non-security divisions of the CR; and an 11 percent across-the-board cut of all accounts in the Legislative Branch bill. The amendment would not cut any funding for Israel.

Cut!!! Just cut the spending! What's the hold up?

Here in Texas; John Culberson (TX-7), Kay Granger (TX-12), Pete Olson (TX-22) & John Carter (TX-31) ALL voted NO with the likes of Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Houston) & Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Dallas).

SHAME ON THESE FOUR BUZZARDS! These 4 RINO fools should feel some heat from their constituents now!!

As long as Tim Walberg continues to vote about 98% the way I like, I can’t complain a whole lot.

Just the other day he introduced HR 700 which would impose a moratorium on insurance companies raising rates based on faulty FEMA flood risk maps. (I’m suddenly in a floodplain that didn’t exist a couple years ago)

Without even looking at the list, I can say with a pretty strong degree of confidence that my Rep. John Culberson voted in favor and probably pushed for even more cuts before it was all said and done.

Nunnelee voted against even after sending out an email that 100B would be cut this week.

I guess the letters to the editor begin.

Well, damn! Color me as wrong as can be. I'm very, very surprised that Culberson would do that.

I wonder what his reason was?

He has been a staunch conservative in the past. Has Washington corrupted him?

Important question.

I'm all for cutting spending but would have voted to continue military sponsorships to NASCAR because its a bargain and our soldiers get free access with zero restrictions. $7 million dollars for a massive ad campaign and troop morale is a hell of a deal.

Oh, he'll be hearing from me.

I'm drafting something up right now and will send it to some of my fellow constituents in that district so that they can modify it to their liking and send it to his office as well.
