“Like me”
Thank you for serving our country. I am betting that a lot of young men and women want to improve their lives and join the military. They leave small towns and big cities with little to no job opportunities and replace it with having one of the most important jobs in our country... protecting the U.S.
Thanks but I’m no hero.
I deflect any gratitude toward those who come home in a box.
