You bought into it entirely with your ".....NEA crime syndicate....." ~ the only data presented on this thread concerns the BOSSES and they are NOT UNION PEOPLE ~ quite the opposite.

I'm sure all the folks whose salaries have folks up in arms on this thread would be happy to whack the teachers!

Look, a basic standard of discussion on FR is to come to the table with some facts to back up your opinions. We usually trust each other to have done that even if they don't lay them out on the table right away.

Here we have someone at the table lambasting the union and the teachers for highsalaries BUT THE EVIDENCE they brought is about someone else, namely the bosses.

That's just not kosher around here, or halal, or cricket if you like that sort of thing, or what have you.

I'm sorry it's not possible to debate what might be an important topic, but you have to come up with the right data ~ else, not proceed with discussion of the topic until the right data is brought in.

There was another thread earlier where a TEACHER was complaining that her salary and that of her husband was going to be reduced by 7% from $17,100 to $15,900 per MONTH. We're not even considering all the vacation time and 'perks'. That's a pretty high salary in my book. People pay outrageous property taxes to support this nonsense, and I consider that 'criminal'. IMHO, of course.
