I am sick of the “poor me, I teach children and I’m so underpaid” jargon.

I was sick of that twenty years ago...the NEA crime syndicate has been robbing America BLIND for years...check out your 'property taxes'; especially in blue states.

In the county and state that I live in, teachers earn close to six figures if they stay with the job for 12 years. That is not counting the benefits either. I’m not saying that what teachers do isn’t important. I am saying it is a Monday to Friday job, weekends/holidays off, snow days off and six weeks or so during the summer.

Then why don't you bring in statistics about teachers, not just their bosses.

What we have is a piece of propaganda on the way ~ except here the story has only the slightest connection to the truth.
