I don't see any contradiction.

The narrative is that Malik is the oldest son of Kezia and BHO Sr. and BHO II is Malik’s younger brother from the bigamous liaison with Dunham. BHO Sr. herded goats in his tribal village as a child in primary school before being educated by the missionaries in secondary school. None of this can be proved without transparency of documents in Kenya and HI and full access to witnesses in both places.
