Music is a gift from God and like all his gifts, can be corrupted by sin. It is the corruption of the gift that is bad and not the gift itself. I don't let my children listen to certain types of music because I believe it is "corrupted". But that doesn't apply to all music. It takes discernment.

Is it the music or the lyrics you find objectionable? One thing I read from Rick Warren that I am inclined to agree with is that there is no unGodly music only unGodly lyrics. I not completely convinced there is no pure "music" which could be unGodly in itself but I've never been able to think of any. I guess disco comes close. ;-)
