Two Points:
1. The Pharisees and Scribes were good guys on the whole. Yahshua was only talking to the clergy like today that are well paid hierlings. Many of the Pharisees were wonderful people in good standing with Yahweh yet the church paints them all with the same paint brush.

What did Yahshua tell the scribe how to inherit eternal life? look it up...and it's not sell all, keep digging.

2. Here are just two of thousands of righteous and blameless. So your whole teaching is on wobbly legs.

(Luke 1:5 KJV) There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

(Luke 1:6 KJV) And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
