You remind me of a history lesson, cripplecreek. Prior to the American Revolution and the Shot Heard ‘Round The World, noting Lexington and Concord, there were numerous skirmishes in the South. Sometimes History has a way of brushing the South aside in the history books (and the Yankees are going to be after me now).

Not this one. I know there are a lot of little known pivotal events scattered throughout history that changed the course of America. I doubt most Kentuckyans realize than 9 counties in their state are named after men who died in a battle in Michigan during the war of 1812. (See tagline)
