I’m a woman and I watch Beck. I find that he discussed information that no one else does (or at least, no one that I know). His staff obviously investigates the bigger picture stuff... not just the simple headline news. Is it uncomfortable at times? Sure. However, i would rather have the knowledge and try to prepare than be ignorant.

Amen! America NEEDS more people like you; both male and female. :-)

Believe me, there are times that my stomach is in knots listening to what he says. I worry about my children and what type of future they will have. Many people are happy to go through life being unaware. I don’t get that? Isn’t it better to know information so that you can possibly prepare for what may come. Beck discusses the uncomfortable stuff. However, he is also optimistic and believes in the American people as strong and intelligent. I don’t see him as an “alarmist” but an educator with hope for a good outcome.
