Andy Dodge seems to be a good high level tea party guy in Maine, but, I just don't see anybody in that picture getting the Republican Nomination instead of Snowe.
If I'm Andrew Ian Dodge, I'm finding Ian Truman of Dead Season. Dead Season has 23,000 myspace friends, Andrew Ian has 260.
And Dead Season, on their website, might look not conservative, but they do have decent day jobs. http://www.myspace.com/deadseason
These Dead Season guys might or might not be conservative. They could be mostly apolitical. But they might be tea party conservatives, or learn to be tea party conservatives, which is where Andy Dodge could go in. I just don't see Andy Dodge winning, but I can see Andy Dodge being a key supporter, advisor to someone, like Ian Truman of Dead Season. Good last name there? Truman. Andy Dodge in an influencial tea party leader, presumably, and he would help Truman. And if Truman won, Andy Dodge could be working for him down in DC. If I was Andy Dodge, I'd go to a Dead Season show. They sold 20K albums, 23K myspace friends (which isn't really a big deal, but they could be honest numbers). I was at a Dead Season show, and I was asking people if they'd vote for the lead singer of Dead Season against Snowe. Everyone except 1 said they would. One fan thought that being a singer in a local band did not qualify that person to be a US Senator.
