It is pretty shameless for the LMSM reporters to help out, but Gibbs gives a complete nonsense answer. He asked about the president’s opinion and defers to the various Secretaries of State?? Second, this is a pretty dumb thing to say about these bills anyway since they would be obligated to execute the birth certificate verification provision. Ironically, the courts have protected at least a couple of such state officials. With these bills in place, that won’t fly the next time.
