Good point. And what does our defender of national morality and traditional marriage have to say about these groups at CPAC?
PALIN ON CPAC TO CBN: But when it comes to and David, perhaps what it is that youre suggesting in the question is should the GOP, should conservatives not reach out to others, not participate in events or forums that perhaps are rising within those forums are issues that maybe we dont personally agree with? And I say no, its like you being on a panel shoot, with a bunch of the liberal folks whom you have been on and you provide good information and balance, and you allow for healthy debate, which is needed in order for people to gather information and make up their own minds about issues. I look at participation in an event like CPAC or any other event, along, or kind of in that same vein as the more information that people have, the better.
From : Post : Palin defends GOProud participation at CPAC(not exactly, read the text and listen to clip yourself)
Sorry Sarah, I will take a pass on this homosexual agenda-fest. What 'information' is coming out of this that we need?
I havent heard Cain on this. Newt I just blow off immediately. We already know Palin’s position, kind of.
Years ago Alveda King -whose famous uncle and her father were
murdered because they were black said to include gay rights as a civil right would be the death of the civil rights movement. Nobody seemed t listen—but she was right. Now the
reprobates desire to claim not only theirs is a civil right—but a conservative rights as well— the enemy is in our own camp now.
Oh, look... A-holeProud is flapping their pie-hole again.
Funny, only Sarah has defended the notion of GOPround participating there, ace.
That’s almost as good as her explanation or Sputnik and the fall of the evil empire.
Look’s like she purposefully answered in a way to make it difficult to tell what her answer was, to play both sides.
And the predictible Palinista defense of it is :
“Sarah has been very clear in her opposition to this kind of thing. Her detractors try to distort her words in order to create a false association between her and the homosexualisticsl agenda. She has never been more clear about what she's not for. “ ref #244
..when it is clearly obvious she is trying to make it UNCLEAR.
There is some truth to ref #244 above. Palin is an expert at telling us what she is against, but it only works when she can make sure she is only asked questions about Obama.
” Palin is an expert at telling us what she is against”
But not what she is FOR, like “registration” amnesty.
I agree. Choose sides now. The majority of Republicans supported DADT but GOProud is a socially liberal group. Barron and his enablers want right-wingers to shut up on social issues but for some reason theyre often preaching.
In Australia, we have problems now with soldiers wanting sex change operations (paid for by taxpayers of course). We call it white anting. GOProud probably calls it business as usual.
I agree. They are trying to divide conservatives. But GOProud cant divorce fiscal conservatism and social conservatism. The expressive divorce revolution and the government-backed abortion industry have cost America many lives and billions of dollars.
