Of course they are. These downtrodden Egyptians yearning to breathe free—encouraged and aided by Obama—will soon be hanging men from portable cranes and shooting women in the head with AKs at half-time of soccer games.
I told them I we should never tolerate dictators, but that it was very important for them to never take anything said by others as the truth until they had looked into the details themselves and formed their own opinions. I told them that this was one of the most important goals of their education, to learn to think critically by themselves.
They legitimately asked me how to get information if you can't just trust what the ‘news’ people tell you the facts are. I told them that is why you have to get information from multiple sources before coming to your own conclusions.
They are supposed to learn how to think critically in school, but instead as parents we have to protect them from learning and excepting as fact the biases of their teachers.

Yes, they're peddling lies, and unfortunately other Americans (including GWB) peddle the illusions that all the good folks in the world just want to enjoy American style freedom and democracy. A big chunk of the good folks want to enjoy Islamic sharia and all that entails, which is the opposite of American style freedom and democracy.
Large numbers of Americans are still a long way from recognizing Islam for what it is.

Islamic wackos like nothing better than stoning someone to death (the younger the better) or watching body parts chopped off. One would have to conclude it makes a Muslim’s day? I guess we could call it a Muslim Super Bowl party? I doubt that the people of Egypt really find this barbaric way of life one they would prefer. If so, they’re truly demented.
