...Ann couldn’t follow Sr. to Harvard because his stipend was too small to support a family....

Uh obama sr apparently didn't want SAD or vice versa the money issue was just an excuse. She made her way through school in Washington & Hawaii, wouldn't it have been cheaper for her to have lived with obie sr and gone to school near Harvard like UMass or dozens of other colleges?

Charter and unscheduled airlines were substantially cheaper than scheduled flights, and flew regularly to Hawaii. Tourist specials. The airlift charter was less than $300. The rest of the trip from Kenya might have been less regular but nevertheless available. So where was SAD in spring and summer 1961? How many months was that? When did she find out ‘Sr. was already married, after she went to Kenya? Why did sr go to UHawaii which was farther away?

Obie Sr got financial aid from aafs, and being a commie and taking Russian Language, could he have gotten financial aid from the commies in Hawaii like Frank M Davis?

The burden of proof is on Obama to prove his eligibility not on us to prove he is ineligible.

“wouldn’t it have been cheaper for her to have lived with obie sr and gone to school near Harvard like UMass or dozens of other colleges?”

Actually, Ann did the cheapest possible thing, which is live with her parents until Obama was born. Perhaps that arrangement got old, led to tensions, whatever. What is beyond dispute is that Ann attended UW for awhile and then returned to HI to finish her degree. None of that proves she had the means to take an enormously expensive flight to Africa.

You provide no evidence of such means nor do you offer even a remotely plausible motive. What’s the point of going all the way to Africa for a birth only to return very shortly thereafter? Sr. hadn’t finished his schooling: the motive cannot have been to live in Africa for any extended period. So again, with facilities 5 times safer in Honolulu, what would motivate anyone to spend more than $10K in today’s dollars to give birth in Africa and then come right back home????

“Charter and unscheduled airlines were substantially cheaper than scheduled flights, and flew regularly to Hawaii. Tourist specials.” Flew regularly from AFRICA to Hawaii??? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. You have provided none.

“The airlift charter was less than $300.” A source would be most useful, since I’d be curious to know whether this was the one-way cost (which seems likely, since those on the airlift did not return to Africa for many years). If so, then the RT cost is not that much less than my back-of-the-envelope calculation of $800. And even if it represents a RT fare, that still translates into $2200 in today’s dollars. You still haven’t shown where Ann would have gotten the equivalent of even $4400 for the 2 of them to make a flight that makes no logical sense to take in the first place. The average car cost only $2850 that year. The average NEW HOUSE cost $12,500.

How many people do you know would spend one third the cost of a house to let their knocked-up daughter take a joyride to Africa to birth a son, thereby quintupling the child’s risk of dying in the process? IT MAKES NO LOGICAL SENSE.
