Here is info from a classic car site which says the same thing...alcohol burns cleaner and leaves your engine cleaner. Gasoline is a very dirty fuel...that is well known.

You may want to reread your article again....The vehicle must be MODIFIED to burn E85...which was my point ...without modifications...ETHANOL RUINS MOTORS!

Well, that is not what you wrote. Of course engines need mod’s to run right on alcohol, that is a given! There is a professional site that has electronics that will do it easily for $250. I was and am correct, alcohol is a much cleaner burning fuel than gas and the engine will last considerably longer using it.
