The 1099 provision was a joke. It was unenforceable. This means nothing.

The law was just declared UnConstitutional.

But that’s not going to stop the American left.

While Full Repeal has garnered all Republican votes in the House and the Senate, and successful lawsuits proceed to the Supremes for final judgment, Republicans are rightly not going to consider those attacks enough.

Rs will next attemt “Death by a Thousand Cuts”. Each hated clause of 0bamaCare will be singled out and a separate vote will be held. Rs will put Ds on the record as supporting each tax increase, each limitation of choice, each Death Panel ;-) , each cost increase, etc. Some will actually pass, and 0bama will have to veto them.

This is unconstrained, permanent, Constitional Battle until victory. If the Feds can make you buy their version of ObamaCare, then you are a slave: They can make you buy anything and everything. They own your wallet, and thereby you.

Keep it up, boys! Fight ‘til the bitter end!

(And yes, I do like uncivil phraseology when my opponents are attempting to enslave me.)

My two Putz's from Michigan did this to try to save Stabusnow's sorry record.

My guess is Thaddeus McCotter or Doc Steele goes up against her, and the State is in no mood for another Dem status qou type, look at the last election, Democrats in Michigan got their heads handed to them. She is on the bubble and she knows it, It ain't gonna help, people aren't that stupid...

The vulnerable Democrats are hoping SCOTUS declares ObamaCare unconstitutional before Nov 2012.

If so, they can smooze the voters.

That being said the Republicans now need to go full court press on DEFUNDING Obamacare.

The Senate Democrats continue to defy the will of the American people. Come 2012 it won't matter any more.

At least they trashed that heinous 1099 proposal.

It has been ruled unconsitutional and void.

It's not over until the Supremes rule on it. In the meantime, the Obamareich is ignoring the lower court ruling.

Since Bennet and Reid got reelected despite being for this trash maybe “moderate” Dems think they still have a chance in ‘12. But it still should be a negative for Webb, Tester, McCaskill, both Nelsons, etc.

I hope the people of West Virginia reject Liberal Joe Manchin in 2012. He’s showing his true colors once again as an Obama lapdog.

Are you certain you want to rely on the judiciary as the sole remedy against the explicit socialism of the United States? Until the Supreme Court rules, the judicial fight isn’t over.

This 1099 bone that the Dems have been offering as a willingness to fix “Obamacare” is a joke. This ridiculous provision should never have been a part of this or any law, so discarding it is no “big f ing deal” in the words of our VP. But please observe the blind party loyalty of the Democrat senators even if they claim to oppose the policy. I wish Snowe, Collins, Murkowski and others had this same instinct when it counts.

I've actually had a slight worry that the Dems would stage a strategic retreat, accept the Florida ruling, repeal Obamacare and work with the RINOs on a “bipartisan” health care financing bill that would split the Republicans and lead to a Dem revival. Not gonna happen. The enemy is terminally stuck on stupid. They are going to push through to a binding Supreme Court precedent that revives the constitutional limits on federal power. They are also going to earn a second historic electoral repudiation in two election cycles. This is just fabulous. Thank God we have two stupid parties. He must truly have a soft spot for the U. S. of A.

It has already been ruled unconstitutional, we don’t need to vote on it again.

Only ruled for one district court - won't apply anywhere else.

repeal the 17th amendment

Yes... Even if every state sends us one of each and we have a 50/50 split and the VP has to break ties, I could live with it.

Screw Comity make them verbal duke it out and make hard decisions, and after 6 years of it they are so freakin tired, they want to go home. I think our founders wanted it to be hard, not a social club.

Go back to they come from the States Houses, but only one term of 6 years and no PENSION.
