Wow...the left is comparing Beck to ol’ Mort? Man...that’s so desperate that’s actually funny! I’m not a big fan of Beck, but come on...Morton Downey, jr? LOL!

For the youngins’ not aware of the circus that was Mort:

Mort has the Guardian Angels on - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUNxvKqAIeY

Roy Innis and Al Sharpton get into it on Mort’s stage - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_WryOg2oZU

I remember him!

It’s mostly a vague fog but I watched him— he seemed mean and scared me a bit but I would still watch.

Was he on the new FOX with 21 Jump Street and all that?

Yikes it has been a while...he’s dead? What happened?

Beck is clearly much more like Wally George than Downey. /s

Yeah, the comparison is silly. Mort was in a league of his own.

OMG! That video of Sharpton getting knocked down just got my day off to a great start! LOL! Still a jerk who never lets anyone else talk. I had forgotten about Downey. Just more attack propaganda from the left because they can't disprove what Beck says.

Not sure who called Mort a Dem/idiot, but watching those clips brought back memories. The one with his friend, Pat Buchanan, talking about Vietnam, Ollie North, etc., was an example of his disdain of liberals as well as his patriotic feelings about the U.S.

But, for those of you old enough to remember (I was, just barely:-) - long before our FNC guys, long before Mort, there was....... Joe Pyne! Remember him? Loved to stay up late & watch that show whenever I spent the night at my grandparents.

You can catch some clips on youtube - check him out. That was back in the Sixties.

Wow, in watching all those old clips, what a sad contrast between then (total freedom of speech, and values were still good back then) vs. the political correctness (and progressive, tyrannical agenda) of now.
