I remember him!
It’s mostly a vague fog but I watched him— he seemed mean and scared me a bit but I would still watch.
Was he on the new FOX with 21 Jump Street and all that?
Yikes it has been a while...he’s dead? What happened?

I watched him when I was a kid. It was a circus act and I don't recall anyone taking this buffoon seriously. It seemed as though he was irrelevant after a couple years deservedly so. If the left needs to question anyone's motives for doing their show, they should examine Ed Schultz. There is evidence that he does his gig strictly for DNC cash. Now there is a phony
Remember this stunt?

Do the progressives know that most people either don’t remember or have never heard of Morton Downey Jr.?

One year he sold out the 1,000 seat Club Casino in Hampton Beach NH. The next, his show was cancelled—because they had only sold 16 advance tickets.
To: DemforBush
Letterman’s Chris Elliot spoofed him as the Chris Elliot Jr show. One moment had Chris picking at a zit on his face and eating it.
To: Irenic
Was he on the new FOX with 21 Jump Street and all that? No. He had a nighttime talk show on WWOR Channel 9 in NYC, and before that he was on KFBK radio in Sacramento. When he got canned at KFBK, the radio station hired Rush to take his place.

Yeah, the comparison is silly. Mort was in a league of his own.

Downey was 63 when he was first diagnosed. The docs removed a lung (yikes!) and he made it to 68 before giving up the ghost.

Interesting thing about Wally George, he claimed Mort copied his act. LOL

LOL, I remember that! Elliot was a hoot!
(Maybe if Letterman had him back on he wouldn’t suck so much!)

OMG! That video of Sharpton getting knocked down just got my day off to a great start! LOL! Still a jerk who never lets anyone else talk. I had forgotten about Downey. Just more attack propaganda from the left because they can't disprove what Beck says.

(Ill leave it to fans of Bill OReilly and Sean Hannity to explain why both men continue to uphold the fraudster Sharpton as a worthy debating partner/great American.) Maybe because Ted Baxter and Vanity are clueless?
