Well there has been heavy use of social network sites, and many videos do get “hits”, including anything from the past tea party rallies.
Then how does anyone explain past revolutions or protests which happened before the days of social media and the internet and 24/7 cable news channels?
Egypt could end up to be Obama’s version of Jimmy Carter and Iran. We don’t know how it’s going to end. But, it’s absurd to somehow say the Tea party protests inspired what’s going on in Egypt.
Remember Egypt was where Obama made his famous speech of outreach to the Muslim world. If these protests turns anti-western and anti-American, Obama will find that the outreach failed miserably.
