Funny how the tea party was dissed by the left on MSNBC and FOX news on the right when they first came on the scene but later became the #1 enemy of the left and the new best friend of the rino right at FOX when they actually showed up and started voting people out on the left and the right. Then comes the Palins, Bachmans, Huckleberries etc. running out to claim they are the leader and or originator of the tea party movement urging the tea party to support them. The real originator of the movement will be the GOP nominee in 2012 and he will get the nominee with the support of the real tea party, independents and democrats who realize Obama did nothing but lie to them. But he will not receive the support of the war hawk faction better known as RINO’s.

However, Representative Michele Bachman is the founder of the Tea Party Caucus, which is a very specific, specialized group, it is a group of Congresspeople.
The Tea Party Caucus is *not* the tea party express, and it is *not* the tea party in general.
That being said, Ron Paul's rabid acolytes don't tend to last here very long. Just because you want dope to be legal doesn't make dope legal.

What is it about Ron Paul that causes you such irritation? Is it the fact he has never voted for a tax increase or an unbalanced budget? Is it the fact that he is the only congressman who returns part of his pay to the treasury each year? Is it because he served in the military? Is it because he delivered thousands of babies and never aborted one? Is it because he votes to uphold the constitution? Is it because he is the only one in power to call the corrupt FED, Treasury, SEC, CFTC etc. out? Is it because he does not support undeclared illegal wars? Is it because he is not in the pocket of the ADL or AIPAC? Tell me what it is!
I agree. Bachman is definitely running interference. Bachman even came to Iowa for a couple events last week.
I do not think for a moment that Bachmann intends to run for POTUS. When asked why she was vising Iowa she said “Came here to set the table”. HMMMMMM?????
Things are going to come to a head in a couple of months. It will be fascinating to watch it play out.
