We have to be honest folks, Fox news has been drifting further and further left over the past several years.
The natural instinct of most conservatives is to defend the channel that the far left attacks on a daily basis.
A similar occurrence came during the eight years of the Bush administration, where the left was viscous, conservatives defended as we witnessed a president advance a very liberal agenda.
My point is that the formula that who the left hates and goes after is not necessarily who they oppose (As in Palin) but a tactic to redefine what right wing news is, leaving a conservatives isolated, as out of the mainstream while in reality making up the majority.
Now at FOX we have people who claim the center and hear both sides of the issues in a sort of consensus building liberal manner.
There is no right or left in the truth, so a motto like" fair and balanced "seems more along the lines of the Hegelian dialectic (Marx) than a show determined to get down to the facts.
We are told to praise someone like Juan Williams, who has stated many times that the Tea Party is racist and that conservatives are extreme.
If you don't think the NPR comments were a set up to have conservatives embrace him at FOX then I think you need to open your eyes.
Beck is probably the only palatable show.
Hannity has become unwatchable; from time to time he has on a conservative like Bachmann, Palin or Demint but for the most part he has ex Bush elites who despise the Tea Party and mock the most conservative candidates while giving Obama a pass on his radical transformation of the country.
When Sean brings up the whole Newt conservative revolution, I want to hurl on myself.
Is Sean this naive, all you have to do is look up his voting record for the last 30 years?
So here we have Michelle Bachmann giving a speech tonight post state of the union and FOX does not have the common decency to air what most of its viewers want to see; an American patriot, not an inside the beltway hack, reminding us that we do have a voice in Washington.
The left has effectively made us think that Bush was a conservative and that Fox news reports the truth both are flat out lies.

About the only FOX show I watch is Greta and that depends on the guest she is interviewing. As for Glenn Beck, I don’t necessarily disagree with him but I can’t stand to watch him. His mannerisms are irritating as hell.
There’s opening for a new conservative news channel
Free Republic TV News ???
Who’s with me - lets get some investors and do it
You nailed it.
Now, Fox is leagues better than its competition, but I also get tired of the schtick, where they let idiots scream at one another and call it "fair and balanced".
And I tired long ago of O'Reilly's routine, where he presents himself as the sane alternative to two straw man arguments.
I would not call Ryan an "inside the beltway hack", in fact I like him a great deal. But I also like Bachmann a great deal and am more interested in what she has to say than either Ryan or Obama. Palin is almost certain to comment, and when she does I'll want to hear that too.
Fox (and CNN and the rest) are conditioning us to get our news from news collection sites like FR, and from places like you-tube. They may not realize they are undercutting themselvs by not showing Bachmann when she is precisely who we want to hear from. I'm glad GOP is promoting Ryan, but Bachmann is becoming a force in her own right.
After.
Are you worried about what CNN's take is on Bachmann's speech?
Well you miss the point then. The left attacks not only reveal who they fear as in Palin but in many cases redefine right wing as liberal- lite, in doing so isolate the majority as extreme.(subversion)
I know who Hegel is, thanks. Just pointing out that referencing his system then sticking Marx’s name in there without explanation makes no sense.
CNN needs the ratings.
Can’t watch Sean-—Greta, I can watch...never would have thought it!
Obviously you didn’t know which is why I sent you the context of that line.
“I know who Hegel is, thanks. Just pointing out that referencing his system then sticking Marxs name in there without explanation makes no sense.”
It would be as if I were attempting a brief aside about Aristotle’s relation to Plato in a sentence otherwise having nothing to do with Aristotle by formulating it as, “Plato’s doctrine of the forms (Aristotle)”. no one who didn’t already know about Aristotle and Plato’s philosophies and the relation between the two would have any idea what that meant.
FOX needs a serious boycott from the right, a little message that will remind them of how they got to where they are.
This is Bachman’s hour. If she hits a home run in her rebuttal (which I have a hard time believing will happen) she will add a great deal of credibility to the idea of Bachman 2012. If her rebuttal is unremarkable or poor then - as in the case of Jindal - her 2012 run is over before it starts. It’s a big gamble, lets see how it works out.
“Obviously you didnt know which is why I sent you the context of that line.”
Obviously you don’t know anything about reading comprehension, as it was clearly the “formulation” to which I objected, not the content. I said so in the original post.
If it’s on CNN no one will see it.
YEP....my first thought was....oh, I’ll watch it online....it’ll go viral.
Well I get concerned when the likes of Krauthammer and others praise Ryan.
Take a look at Michelle’s post today on Ryan’s voting debacles, this guy is not someone I look up to thats for sure.
Good thing we have to watch this though
Internet ‘kill switch’ bill will return
