Sven has posted info that indicates under some circumstances it is possible for a minor to relinquish US citizenship. The info he’s posted in the past is pretty convincing that it is possible. The minor himself has to sign stuff and go to the US embassy or consulate. Sven says that 0h0m0 did this in Indonesia.

The truth is almost a 100% certainty that the whole country of Kenya is correct that Obama was born there, and that Lolo Soetoro adopted Obama who then became an Indonesian citizen. You may recall that Stanley Ann Dunham-Obama-Soetoro stated on her passport application to indefinably live in Indonesia. See below.

WellyP, and others, want you to believe a minor cannot move out of the US and renounce their US Citizenship because an Oath of Renunication by a minor is revocable until 6 months after the minor reaches the age of 18.

Not true! Any US citizen can move out of the US and renounce their citizenship, regardless of age. A Certificate of Loss of Nationality issued by the Secretary of State is discretionary. If the current SoS says she would not issue a CLN to a minor it does not mean the SoS would not issue a CLN to a minor in 1968.

Once a CLN is issued to a minor, it is revocable without a Fed Court proceeding until 6 months after the minor’s 18th birthday. An adult who wished to revoke a CLN would have to petition a US Fed Court to overturn the CLN due to some fraud.
