It is politicians (school boards) for the most part at the local and state level that approve the text books used in the public school.
Teachers that use the text books write there own lesson plans. If they teach those falsified section; yes they are idiots.
But put the blame for the text books where it belongs with those that approved those books for use and those that approved their purchase.
