I was surprised that he still had a job after the “Special Comment” the day of the Tucson shooting. They had brought him in that evening for a special broadcast. I didn’t expect to see him around after that. Turns out, he lasted almost two weeks after that slanderous piece.

Well, doggone! I missed every single one of his broadcasts.
Next time I have the stomach flu I will feel like that loss has been made up.

Hopefully he will end up in some fourth market share TV station as the weatherman. “Olbermann the Weather Man”, sounds good to me.

Don't get too excited. They are replacing him with Alan Grayson! So, MSLSD is serious about upgrading their lineup ... just not real serious.

Sounds like the new owner of NBC is serious about making money and not allowing blowhards to destroy the bottom line as he has.
This could be a reawakening of MSM as they realize that pushing Marxist drivel is a loser.
There does come a moment when even Marxists become Capitalists.
Namely, when their job is on the line.
To: Rufus2007
So THAT is what the ‘countdown’ was about.

It looks like KO’s only hope for a continuing career in televised political commentary is a re-imposition of the Fairness Doctrine and a government-mandated cameo role as liberal lunatic loudmouth.

Hm...this is very disconcerting. Could this mean that even liberals have a limit for spewing hate? Or has he not been able to spew enough and is looking for another venue that is more welcoming? Inquiring minds want to know.

the question is where will he end up? Obama'll probably name him as press secretary to replace Gibbs.
To: Rufus2007
Anti-Establishment? Did he really say that? Is anyone that out of touch? The ‘Establishment’ in this country is overwhelmingly liberal. Olermann’s thinks it’s forever 1968...
