First off he writes as though the medias attempts to steer the country their way is working. If so explain the failure of the MSM’s work on blaming the right for the Giffords shooting, very low support for Obamacare, low support for Obama himself and the absolute disaster the Rats had in the midterms.
Second. He cites John Hinderaker at Powerline as reason to worry the narrative the MSM has put forth on Palin is working. This is not a go to blog for the pulse of the GOP and John Hinderaker has been shown to be questionable in his motives by Mark Levin.
All together this whole thing sucks.

I have to strongly disagree. Prof. Jacobson is a very astute man- both Rush and Mark Levin have positively cited his blog pieces. And he’s defended Palin in countless posts.
The fact of the matter is that the MSM’s attempt to influence the moronic public has worked a little- Obummer’s approval is at 53% in two different polls, post-Tucson. Of course, he has to go back to governing now, and back to his failing policies.
You missed the *target* of that post. It was a follow-up to his previous post that the aftermath of the Tucson shooting was just a measure of how much pushback against Palin the public would allow. It was a precursor to see how effective the same vile tactics used against Hillary in 2008 (and his IL opponents in 2004) would swallow. Professor is a solid Conservative on our side, and a solid Palin supporter. Please peruse his site, and reconsider. His is my 2nd stop every morning.
