You know, I find it disturbing, this insistence some FReepers have that anyone who doesn't support their favourite one isn't a conservative. Exactly who are YOU to determine what the qualifications for a conservative are? Get real.
Your insistence that everyone fall in line with your views or they're obviously not a conservative is just like our Dear Leader who believes anyone who doesn't agree with him is an enemy. Get off your high horse and come to grip with the fact that you aren't The One to determine who any conservative should support. And, you never will be.
The more I read you and your ilk's ridiculous posts proclaiming how anyone who doesn't support Gov. Palin is a RINO/not a conservative/troll/whatever have done more to damage any potential candidacy than the media ever could. I've come to firmly believe that that is indeed your purpose: to be so annoying that even if Gov. Palin were to decide to run, so many real conservatives would be so sick of having her being rammed down their throats that she'd have even more of an uphill battle.
Congratulations, you've found a way to push your favored one to a place where you've alienated Real Conservatives (i.e. ones who couldn't imagine voting for Jimmeh).
