Closed caption or crowd motivation. It makes no difference. The effect is identical. If O did not want applause it would not have been shown on the tron.

That line of reasoning doesn't put the right in a very good light, quite frankly. Closed captioning is hardly a call for applause. We need to stick with realistic critiques of the rally, of which there are plenty.

If the closed caption called for applause, as it appears it did...... where do you think the script came from? The WH, that is where.

Stick with what you choose. There is no question but that the applause sign on the tron generated substantial and continued applause.
